Holy crap, am I sick. I haven’t been this sick in a *very* long time. Actually, I’ve never been sick with this much pain before. My *entire* throat is infected, everything from my tonsils down to my thyroid and everything in between. Can we say ouch? It feels like little flaming creatures are slowly eating away at my entire throat. It hurts to do absolutely anything. Even ice cream produces searing pain. Swallowing? Forget it. No can do. In the few moments that I’ve managed to sleep, I’ve awakened in puddles of drool because even unconscious, I refuse to swallow. I thought that I’d get relief after a few doses of antibiotic, but I’ve taken 3, and so far, no less pain. Anyone have a spare Vicodin?
