I hate local news. A whole lot. The headline teaser tonight is “What is PennDot paving our roads with? A new disturbing study!!” You know what? I really don’t care what my roads are being paved with. I only drive on them. I rarely walk (and never sit down) on one. Therefore, the closest part of me that comes into extended contact with the road is my tires. I don’t particularly care if the road is paved with pig urine or some potent carcinogen. It’s not like we have a well, and our water is well filtered. So,
