First, let me just say that I don’t think New England deserved to win the Superbowl. The only reason they won is because Donovan McNabb handed the win to them on an autographed silver platter. The Eagles’ defense was great. TO played amazingly considering he just had surgery on his ankle. Oh well. I just wanted to see the Patriots go down in flames.
Secondly, I loved the half-time show. I thought Paul McCartney was great. It’s about time they quit using talentless acts (I mean, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake?? WTF!!) My uncle pointed out how odd it is that 30 years ago The Beatles weren’t allowed on Ed Sullivan because they were too outrageous. Now, Paul McCartney is being used as a counterbalance of wholesome family entertainment. Thirty years from now we’ll have Janet Jackson stripping during halftime. Oh wait…
