My dog is a gimp. She woke up yesterday with her right front paw the size of a dinner plate. I have no clue what’s wrong with it. It’s just big. She also has a large bald, circular spot between two of her claws. My neighbor said that her dog had that. She had to get an antihistimine shot and antibiotics. Joy. Just when I though I finally had her all patched up, this happens. There goes my Christmas fund. Good thing I was a slacker this year and haven’t bought any presents yet. I wonder how my family feels about Chia pets. They sell them at the dollar store. After this latest vet bill, that’s all I’ll be able to afford.
The dog is licking her paw again, which is only making it worse. Have you ever tried to keep a dog from licking a paw? It’s like trying to give a cat medicine. It’s just not happening. Last night, I kept yelling at her to stop licking her paw. At about 3am, she got disgruntled, left the room, and didn’t come back. I know she was downstairs licking. Her paw was bloody this morning.
