I was listening to Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Have you actually thought about that song? Here’s the lyrics:
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
Had a very shiny nose,
And if you ever saw it,
You would even say it glows.
All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names.
They never let poor Rudolph
Join in any reindeer games.
Then one foggy Christmas Eve,
Santa came to say,
“Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?”
Then all the reindeer loved him,
as they shouted out with glee.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
you’ll go down in history.
So answer me this question. Why is it that the reindeer only like Rudolph after Santa picks him to lead the sleigh? Are they just corporate suck-ups?? They’re only being nice to Rudolph now because he’s in a position of power. That is not true friendship as the movie and song would have us believe. It’s merely a plastic facade!! Okay, so here’s another question. If office politics extend to the North Pole, are the elves unionized?
