Ahh…what a nice weekend I had, especially yesterday. The Aunt invited me over to watch the Steelers game. It was a really awesome game, too. Go Steelers!! The Uncle made roast beef that was *so* good!! And to top it off, they had a roaring fire going. Can you ask for anything more?? I think not.
I also graded my students’ midterms. I was so happy. They did so well!! YAY!! In my reading class, 13 out of 17 got a B or above. In my writing class, 11 out of 13 passed their midterm portfolios. Happy, happy, happy!!! I’m a proud teacher today. 
That’s really about it. It was a very quiet weekend, which was exactly what I wanted. I wanted to really relax so that I could fully recuperate from the flu. It felt so good. Today I feel like I’m finally over being sick. (so exciting!) Okay, I’m going to go check out what’s in the fridge. It’s almost 6, and I’m so ready for dinner!
