Another warm birthday wish is being sent to Senior GirlCousin who’s 22nd birthday is today. The Aunt and I spent 4 hours decorating on Friday night. We put up Care Bear balloons, Care Bear plates and a tablecloth, crepe paper, and shiny stars. We actually used *4 whole rolls* of crepe paper and part of a 5th!! That has to be some kind of world record. I have to say that the staircase was my masterpiece. I wrapped all 4 colors around the railing and weaved them through the spindles. It created one gigantic rainbow. It was so awesome!! I have to say, though, that The Aunt and I were so giddy all night over the fact that we were creating a 4 yr. old’s fantasy for a 22 yr. old. We both said that we’d have to drag some random children in off the street so that even one child could enjoy what we’d created. Senior GirlCousin loved it! Her eyes got so big when she walked in the house. It was great!
Then on Saturday, I babysat Thing One and Thing Two (see “Muggles of Note” area). We had a really good time playing and watching Home on the Range. That’s a really cute movie btw. Thing One and Thing Two were so funny getting ready for bed. When I told them to brush their teeth, they started yelling “No!!” However, while they were protesting, they went into the bathroom and brushed their teeth. They were still refusing after they were done!! How funny is that??!!
