Wow. I feel so much better after last night. I saw Michael Moore speak last night. He was awesome! The funniest part is that he opened by reading us the story My Pet Goat. Those of you that saw Fahrenheit 911 will understand that joke. He was brilliant. He launched into a step-by-step analysis of how Bush (not Kerry) is the one who’s flip-flopped positions on Iraq. I will say this. I’ve never seen Michael Moore as angry and on fire as he was last night. It was very inspiring. My favorite thing he did was laying out the statistics to prove that 63% of Americans identify themselves with the Liberal point of view rather than the Conservative. That gives me hope. He also said that we need to take a page out of the Republican book and quit worrying about whether we’ll win the election. We have to believe absolutely 100% that Kerry will win. Here’s his commentary on that. I also liked how he said that those of us who so oppose the war in Iraq are the only ones actually supporting the troops. We’re supporting them not being put in harm’s way and potentially killed. All I have to say is this: Michael Moore for President!!
