Boy did I have a long, rough night last night. I went to bed around midnight. I woke up some time around 2 only to realize that I had no power. This happens occasionally. Funny thing is that the power only goes out in my building. Everywhere else is fine. Anyway, the generator is right outside of my apartment. So, just as I was falling back to sleep, the power company showed up to fix it. Figures. By that time, I had pretty much figured out that I wasn’t going back to sleep. I decided to get up and write my Emily Dickenson paper. What’s nice is that I at least got it done quickly, and it was probably better than it would have been had I written it during the day. Still, even after I finished, I couldn’t go back to sleep. I didn’t fall asleep again until around 6:30. Of course I was up again at 8. *yawn* *bigger yawn*
On the plus side, I got The Sims 2 today. It rocks! Definitely worth the wait. It takes some practice to get used to the new building tools and movements of the screen, but the graphics are great. It’s also cool to see the sims functioning in families. I didn’t have that much time to play or experiment with it today, but what I did get to do was awesome. All in all, two thumbs way up!
