That being said, I hate bees and other things that make me not breathe. What a way to start the morning. I was walking the dog with a friend of mine (who most fortunately happens to be an ER nurse) when I got stung by a bee. It was sitting on my head, and when I went to brush my hair out of my eyes, it was kind enough to sting my finger. Ironically, it was my middle finger too. For those of you not allergic, I will tell you that anaphylactic shock is a very interesting experience. First you think your gonna throw up, then the world begins to spin, your ears start buzzing louder than the freakin’ bee that stung you in the first place, then you realize that you haven’t taken a breath in awhile and now you’re incapable of it. Fun, fun, fun. Poor Aileen (my life-saving friend) managed to wrangle both dogs and carry me back to my apartment to get my EpiPen. I still don’t know how she did it, but I’m eternally grateful that she did. Anyhow, I’m fine now. I just won’t be able to bend my middle finger for a few weeks. lol. This could come in handy when driving…
I Love EpiPen!!!
