Okay, so I’m in the process of writing a paper on Peter Pan for The Ego’s class. I was talking to That Professor about it, as that’s what I’ve been researching for her all summer, when she told me a very interesting story. She emailed The Ego earlier this summer and asked him if it was okay if I wrote on Peter Pan because I was her research assistant and had already done all this research, etc. The Ego wrote back and said it was okay (and I quote) “if we can discuss the results afterward.” What the @#$& is that supposed to mean???!!!!! Even That Professor didn’t know. It sounds to me like he wants to talk to her about my work behind my back. That is SO unprofessional!! Does he honestly think I’m going to plagerize her work?? I mean come on!! Get a grip!! I’m a graduate student!!! Not a ninth-grader!! So now I’m just really, really insulted that he would even think something like that, let alone say it to another prof. Okay, the rant is over. Time to get back to my paper.
